ESCAPELYA / OUR APPROACH
Our editorial standards
A beautiful photograph should begin a useful story. Our guides distinguish a researched itinerary from an actual first-hand stay.
Research, with clear limits
Destination guides use linked official tourism, park and transport sources. Room-selection and budgeting checklists explain what to ask before booking; they do not confirm a particular property's facilities, rates or availability. A first-hand review requires a named contributor and evidence of a visit.
How we use AI
AI tools assist with research, drafting and editing. AI output is not evidence of a visit or an independent source. Source checks, clear uncertainty and accurate image context remain part of our publication checks. The Escapelya Editorial byline identifies the publication, not an individual traveller.
Dates and changing details
“Last checked” records the source-check date stored with a guide. It is not a promise of live conditions. Rates need dates, a room category and inclusions; availability, cancellation terms, transport and park alerts need checking with the provider before you book or travel. A routine check does not make an older story newly published.
Photography and commercial relationships
Photography must be licensed and correctly identified. Inspiration imagery does not establish that we visited a property or that the pictured room is bookable through a guide. Our commercial disclosure explains the current relationship with booking providers and sponsors.
